Welcome to Leadership Brandon Alumni Association!
Leadership Brandon Alumni Association is
over twenty years old and has over 400 members and 100+ Lifetime
Members. We actively connect Alumni proud members to leadership
opportunities throughout the Greater Brandon area. It is our goal
to inspire, support and enhance our community’s leadership
through the Brandon Chamber’s Leadership program.
In support
of our 5-star Chamber, we are raising funds to own the naming rights
of the 2nd floor Leaders Legacy Loft in the Brandon Chamber building
on 330 Pauls Drive.
Alumni Proud Members have several opportunities
to contribute to this campaign which will provide our members with
exposure for their business and help connect our membership to
an Alumni Proud Legacy. Because some of these opportunities are
very limited, they will be awarded on a first come, first serve

Once
you graduate from the Greater Brandon Chamber
of Commerce Leadership Brandon Program, your first year’s dues of $25.00
are prepaid by the Chamber of Commerce. Lifetime memberships are
available after your first year for $125.00.
Leadership Brandon
Alumni hosts the opening social every year for the Leadership Brandon
class, pays for the bus during class outings and hosts the Leadership
Brandon graduation every year. All
of the members of the planning committee for Leadership Brandon
programs are alumni.
In 2005, we started “Lunch with Today’s Leaders” which
serves as an opportunity for alumni of Leadership Brandon and the
general public, to hear community leaders talk about their backgrounds,
their leadership roles and their community service. Our lunches
have featured Mark Ober, state’s attorney, Tampa Mayor Pam
Iorio, Hillsborough Sheriff, David Gee, former Florida House Representative
Sandy Murman, Brandon Regional Medical Center CEO, Mike Fencel
and former Florida State Senate President Tom Lee. Keep updated

We have an annual Casino night to raise funds and try to hold
social networking opportunities when possible. In 2007 we have
three socials including the opening social (please see our “events” listing).
The LBAA Annual Meeting took place on
July 19th when the new president and board were announced for the
coming year. This year, the annual meeting was held in conjunction
with Lunch with Today’s Leaders at Center Place where the
association also announced the Eagle Award, Mike Edenfield class
of 1985 winner for 2007. Congratulations Mike!
Our goals are to:
- Thoroughly engage the membership.
- Discover opportunities for leadership growth.
- Find new ways for leadership alumni to benefit from their membership.

Alumni board meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday each month
at 5:00 p.m. in the TECO Energy Board Room of the Greater Brandon
Chamber of Commerce. Alumni are invited to attend!
