Eagle Award Winner

Mike Edenfield not only was in the inaugural class of Leadership Brandon back in 1985 but he hasn’t stopped being a leader in the community since. He was the class chair that year and has remained actively involved in the planning committee for Leadership Brandon program since at least 1995. He faithfully plans and coordinates Judicial Day, which has been a designated leadership day longer than any other in the program. He is an annual attendee at Graduation the class’s opening reception every year. He is a past member of the Alumni Board, sponsors two “debriefings” a year for the current class and encourages Alumni to participate.

The most loyal graduate of the program, he has dedicated time, talent and finances to the program. He personally seeks the participants in Judicial day and ensures its success every year. He attends the session before Judicial Day to organize the class based on their interests. He is a Lifetime Member of the Alumni and has consistently served as an ambassador for the program; recruiting others to participate.

He is an admired leader within the community and Hillsborough County, participates in Rough Riders and other community charities. He has served as the Brandon Chamber Consulting Attorney as well as serving on the board of Rotary’s Camp Florida.
